About

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2000 and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, Billy has been interested and involved in theatre and live events from a young age. In 2008 he took part in his first show Jungle Book Jr in the role of assistant on the technical crew.

Since then, Billy developed his skills, particularly in the field of lighting by taking part in multiple amateur and school-run shows including; Aladdin Jr, Chicago, Bugsy Malone and fashion shows. Eventually, Billy was involved in professional shows such as Il Trovatore run by Operami, Geneva, Switzerland and Jazz Sur La Plage. This passion and interest in theatre and lighting led Billy to study lighting at a further level. He currently attends Rose Bruford College in London and is in his second year in the undergraduate program; Creative Lighting Control.

Billy has completed his International Baccalaureate at the International School of Geneva and speaks fluent English and French. He has had training and is comfortable using GrandMA 2, ETC console, qlab, Green Hippo, Adobe, Vectorworks and various CAD softwares. He has also confident using a camera for film and photography.
